

Acceptance by you
1) The King of Crews Challenge promotion ("the competition ") is provided by Pacific Brands Sport & Leisure Pty Ltd ABN 53098742708 of 159 Kingsgrove Rd, Kingsgrove, NSW 2208 ("The Promoter", "we" or our"). These conditions (including without limitation the information on how to enter and prize details which we publish in relation to the competition) apply to the competition. By entering the competition, entrants ("you") you acknowledge that you have read and understood, and agree to be bound by these conditions.
IF YOU DO NOT ACCEPT THESE CONDITIONS YOU MUST NOT ENTER THE COMPETITION.
2) Entering the competition
To be eligible to enter the competition, you must be a permanent resident of Australia. Our and our associated agencies' employees, and members of their immediate families, are ineligible to enter the competition. If you are aged under 18, you must seek the consent of your parent or legal guardian before entering this competition. The minimum age permitted to enter the competition is 15 years.
3) The challenge will run on the following days at the listed events:

4) To enter you must register at the King Gee ‘King of Crews Challenge' site during the Promotional Period; and then complete the challenge
Registrations will be taken by King Gee promotional staff during the "promotional Period"

7) Prizes and winners
Major Prize
This is a game of skill. The winner of the Major Prize will successfully complete a ‘tyre change only pit stop' in the fastest recorded time. An approved timing system will be used to determine participant times. Participants are required to change two tyres in the shortest amount of time possible. Each Challenge will be completed in groups of two, with participants undertaking the challenge on opposite sides of the car. Participant times will be recorded individually. The fastest participant will be awarded the Major Prize.
The Major Prize winner will have successfully completed the challenge in the OVERALL fastest time from each of the listed event days (Promotional Period)
There is one (1) Major Prize to be awarded to the participant who registers the OVERALL fastest time from all of the event days (Promotional Period).
In the event that two or more participants register the same time, the Major Prize winner will be determined by the fastest time set by the person who participated in the challenge at the same time as the winner when they recorded their winning time.
The Major Prize includes:
- Money can't buy experience: Become part of the Bundaberg Racing Pit Crew at the Sydney Telstra 500 on Sunday December 4, 2011
- Return economy class flights for the winner and chosen family member or friend (2 flights) to Sydney from the winner's nearest Australian capital city. The winner is responsible for transport from their residence to their nearest capital city for flight departure (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide or Perth).
- Three (3) nights accommodation in Sydney from 2nd to 5th December 2011 inclusive, at a hotel rated 3 stars (or above) in a twin or double room with breakfast daily, such accommodation to be determined by the Promoter.
- Two (2) three day track passes with Paddock access to the Telstra Sydney 500 - 2011
- Two (2) passes to attend a Pit Tour of Bundaberg Racing garage. Timing of Pit Tour to be determined by the Promoter
- Spending Money to the total of $1,000
Travel insurance (which is recommended) and all additional costs incurred are the responsibility of the winner.
The Major Prize does not include travel insurance, transfers, meals, drinks, laundry charges, activities, incidentals, taxes (including departure tax), energy surcharges, gratuities, service charges, or other ancillary costs
Runner Up Prizes
A Runner Up prize will be awarded to the fastest participant on each event day of the promotional period. There are a total of 15 event days during the promotional Period. Runner Up prizes will also be awarded at the below event days, which are not included in the promotional period.

The Runner Up prize for the first three (3) promotional days only is: A Bundaberg Racing work shirt
Runner Up prizes for the remaining promotional period days will be determined at the completion of the first event. The competition T&C's will be updated accordingly.
10) Total prize value of all prizes is up to a maximum of $6,000. Prize values are correct at the time of printing. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize values. If the winner of a prize is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner's nominated parent or guardian.
11) The Promoter will contact all prize winners via telephone to confirm their address details. It is planned that runner up prizes be distributed to winners on the day in which they win the prize. All prize winners will also be notified via mail within 14 days of them winning their prize.
12) If the Promoter is unable to contact a prize winner(s) for any such reason, the Promoter will continue to attempt to make contact via the information provided by the participant up until 14 days after the completion of the Promotional Period. After this time prizes will be forfeited
13) All prizes are non refundable, non transferable non redeemable for cash or other goods or services.
Disclaimers
15) The Promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, either caused by you or for any of the equipment, including timing, associated with or utilised in the competition, or for any technical error, or any combination thereof that may occur in the course of the administration of the competition
16) The Promoter also accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from prize winnings in the competition. You should seek independent financial advice about such matters.
17) If for any reason a winner is not capable of travelling or flying at the times booked or does not otherwise redeem a prize (or part thereof) by the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize or that element of the prize will be forfeited.
19) The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (including without limitation direct, indirect, special and consequential loss and damages) or for personal injury or death suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person's negligence) in connection with the challenge or accepting or using any prize offered as part of the competition, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law). The Promoter may require the winners, as a condition of accepting a prize, to sign a release of liability in respect of the Promoter.
20) The law implies various conditions and warranties which might apply to us supplying goods or services to you. The Promoter excludes all of those conditions and warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law, including without limitation implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
21) Provisions of the Trade Practices Act 1974 and other statutes in some cases either cannot be excluded, restricted or modified; or can only be restricted or modified to a limited extent. If any of those provisions apply, then to the extent permitted our liability under those provisions is limited as set out below. The Promoter's liability in relation to goods we supply is limited at our option to: a) replacement of the goods or the supply of equivalent goods; or b) repair of the goods; or c) payment of the cost of replacing the goods or of acquiring equivalent goods; or d) payment of the cost of having the goods repaired; and our liability in relation to services we supply, is limited at our option to: a) the supplying of the services against; or b) the payment of the cost of having the services supplied again.
Your personal information
24) As a result of you entering the competition, the Promoter will collect certain personal information about you, such as your address and telephone number. This information will be used for the purposes of running the competition. If you do not provide this information you will not be able to participate in this competition. Unless you object, this information may also be used to (i) send you news and information about our other promotions or products and/or general marketing material which the Promoter believes may be of interest to you; (ii) provide you with news, information and material in relation to the competition; (iii) monitor who is entering the competition; (iv) profile entrants. The Promoter may share your personal information for any purpose incidental to your entering into and our operation of the competition.
All entries become the property of the Promoter. By entering the competition, you are agreeing to receive further information from us delivered via SMS to the mobile phone, via email to any email address provided. The Promoter may disclose your personal information to third parties who provide us with administrative services. This information will be stored at the office of the Promoter.
By entering the competition, you consent to us using and disclosing your personal information in these ways.
In addition, Octagon Australia will be providing the promoter with services that permit the running of the competition. In doing so and for that purpose, Octagon Australia will collect your details and provide them to us and others for that same purpose. If you are not willing for this to occur you cannot participate in this competition.
The Promoter will not otherwise disclose your personal information to third parties.
If you advise us that you do not wish us to use your personal information for any particular purpose, the Promoter will endeavour to take the necessary measures to meet your request. Exceptions to this are: (i) where the Promoter is required to disclose information by law; (ii) where the Promoter believes that the use or disclosure is reasonably necessary to assist a law enforcement agency or an agency responsible for government or public security as a necessary part of their business; and (iii) if the Promoter will notify you of an intended use or disclosure of your information and you do not object to that use or disclosure.
You consent to the Promoter using your name and image in the event you are a winner for the purpose of promoting, publicizing or marketing this Promotion, including any outcome.
You indemnify us
27) You release and agree to keep us indemnified from any claim, cost, demand, tax, liability or damage (including legal costs on a full indemnity basis) suffered or incurred by us, our directors, employees, agents and representatives arising out of your entry in the competition, the use or acceptance of any prize or any claim by a third party arising from an act or omission by you.
Failure to comply and severability
28) The Promoter is not liable for any failure to comply with these conditions. If any part or provision in these conditions is found to be invalid, unenforceable or illegal for any reason, that part or provision shall be severed and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force.
Entire agreement and governing law
29) These conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and us as to its subject matter. By entering the competition, you accept that this agreement is to be interpreted, and any disputes are to be determined by the courts having jurisdiction in New South Wales, in accordance with the laws in force in New South Wales from time to time.
