ARE YOU AT RISK OF INJURY DUE TO FADED HIGH VISIBILITY GARMENTS?

At KingGee we understand the importance of high visibility workwear and how this clothing assists in creating a safer workplace.

KingGee is dedicated to the safety of those that wear their garments and to providing quality workwear. All our KingGee high visibility garments are made of fabric this is compliant to AS/NZS 1906.4:1997. After wearing and washing a garment over time, high visibility garments will fade and lose their brightness particularly those made from cotton. This will affect how visible you are and potentially could put you at risk of injury.

We are proud to launch the KingGee High Visibility Indicator card to assist you in determining when your garment is no longer compliant to Australian high visibility day standards.

HOW TO USE THE CARD

Simpy hold up the card to your cotton high visibilty garment and see where it fits on the colour scale, if it is as light or lighter than the non complaint colour, then you should replace your garment, as it is no longer considered effective or compliant to the Australian Standards.

Use the card as a guide. There are many variations of non compliant colours, and fading is only one issue, heavily soiled garments will also not provide you with increased visibility and those garments should also be replaced.

Visit your local Totally Workwear Store or email KingGee to obtain your card.

This card is designed for use only on cotton high visibility garments.
