King Gee today announced the launch of the KingGee Jack of All Trades, a new national competition and TV series to find and crown Australia’s best all round tradie.
The new experiential marketing and media campaign allows KingGee to engage and interact with their target market of more than 600 000 Australian tradies, in a highly entertaining environment.
Tradesmen from around the country will race each other and the clock in state and national finals to determine who has the best all round skills and physical ability on the tools. The national winner will take home a prize pool of $100 000 including a customised work ute, the ultimate tool kit and work wear.
Set to become the Tradies Olympics, the sports style tradie action will become a new TV series to be broadcast on the Nine Network nationally in December and January. It will be screened on Saturdays and Sundays just prior to the high rating Ashes Cricket telecasts.
Former Australian cricketer, Shane Lee, Nine’s celebrity chippy Luke Van Dyck, and former Wallaby, Triple M sports nut Greg Martin (a builder in a previous life) front the competition and will host the television series. Building industry guru Kevin Farrell will head the judging panel.
